the 911 operator is an idiot.

why is the 911 operator an idiot?

He called and said my house is being robbed, I just drove off in their van!

She says stop the van, you can be charged with grand theft auto.

and?

thats idiotic.

no it's not. if a burglar tries to rob you and you end up robbing him instead, that's a crime. the law doesn't account for revenge...

How about since he had no intention of keeping it, because he took it to make sure the criminals are caught? Ugh, what a stupid response from the operator et al.

Can I come take your car for a bit if I don't plan on keeping it?

I thought someone had broke into my house last night. I heard a noise like someone dragging our tv stand out downstairs. I can't help but think how stupid I looked running downstairs in my underwear with a loaded AR-15.

I once whipped out my knife and started creeping around my house when I was home alone. I think it turned out to be the heater or something.

You sure it wasn't a mouse escaping from the AC unit? ;)

In Minneapolis, it isn't uncommon for crooks to break into homes, steal what they want and rape females while they're at it. Anyone who tries to stop them, crooks either shoot them or severely injure them. This double dilemna sometimes creates shocking horror for aftermath, cases where investigators conclude that husbands or family members were powerless in such break-in scenarios.

Pretty scary situation. The crooks not only know where he lives, but they'll want compensation for their missing vehicle. What makes you think they won't come back, wait outside at night, waiting for either husband or wife to come home in the car, holding them at gun point to fork over the keys to all the family cars, along with personal belongings? The new security alarm by this point isn't going to work?

Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angelos, Bronx, whatever, wherever.

United States and a war in the Mid East, problem solving at it's best, Uncle Sam.

National Security, their tolerance of in-border failures to not suggest National Guard involvement with the police forces of America.

People laughing, the innocent applauding.
