This guy has taken pictures of MY items and placed them for sale in his thread. Those are NOT his radiators . I make and sell them here. He copied the info and picture. This is wrong


HE is doing this all over ther web. I (with help from cool members) have found 5 forums he is doing this at. The other places he claims them as his. One place he says they are not is that he is selling for a friend (this si when a guy wanted info on one)

I agree there have been alot of finger pointing going on, but alot of it is deserved and warranted. How else is anyone to know who a troll is, or if there are problems with a trader, and they do not answer PM/EMail, etc. unless it gets posted publicly. Please, if you have a better idea post it.

On topic, and without back street lawyer advice, using someone else's pictures and not giving credit where credit is due is not the way things are done. If he gave WA261 credit for the pictures and had permission to use them, there wouldn't be any beef in my opinion. But as far as I can tell he didn't ask to use them and has misrepresented them as his own elsewhere.

Sorry Dillusion if you think trading here sucks. Don't trade here then, try elsewhere. Beware though of any forum who does not allow TrollHunters to help traders resolve issues.

I agree with the mods doing a troll alert on this idiot but unfortunately it has a subscriber tag on it and, like many, those of us that are no longer subscribers cannot access the alert as the majority of other AT users could not.
To those that subscribe to the "chill out" theory, I would ask that you rethink that a bit. He has STOLEN the pictures. There is no other way to describe it. It is simply not acceptable and is also the reason you see most web sites embossing their logo across product pictures. Either give the sucker some serious vacation or ban him.

As for calling troll, this was an absolutely justified case. I don't care how the post is worded, "just like" or "similar to" or even "I stole these pics from someone else", using WA261's pics was completely misrepresenting the product and theft of a copyrighted product. WA261s radiators are NOT mass produced. He hand makes them, so each and every one is unique. His photo was a sample of his work. The photo had nothing to do with the troll's work. For all we know, the smartasien could be building much nicer rads! But we'll never know because the guy is a thief and nobody in their right mind who's seen one of these alerts will deal with him.

Just like the forums don't allow the sale of bootleg software, or even discuss the methods of bootlegging/pirating, the mods cannot allow this theft either.
