edit: MrDingleDangle found the link

I can't find the original post anymore, but it was some guy that basically said, "I have to solve this problem before Monday, any help would be appreciated." The first response was this:

Please do not ask for answers explicitly on websites Jermaine, I will
be taking this into consideration when assessing your coursework.

By your final year of university you should be aware that of what is
classed plagarism and academic misconduct.

Please take this into conisderation.

Jermaine C was asking the group to do his homework for him, not for pointers or suggestions.

Hahaha! Good job professor Wertheim :D

i agree he says " Please could someone help me with it, or at least point me in the right direction"

that to me doesnt seem like he is trying to get someone to do it for him

He didn't ask the question in such a way that anyone would be able to help him without solving the problem for him. Unless they took the super patient approach and tried to lead him through.

Anyway, regardless of whether he deserved it or not it was pretty funny to see ;)

He also lied about why he wanted the answer, so that no one would know it was homework and would be more likely to give him too much help.
