I don't see how that's not fake. With the way he's lying, his center of gravity hits right above the bike's rear wheel which is taking a lot of weight off the front wheel. He's not using anything to steer and changing lines at that speed without aerodynamics or simple road conditions forcing him to correct any steering issues. No chance. I just don't see how there wouldn't be any shimmy on the front wheel/steering column.

My roommate texts when he drives... scary.

Off topic: Why are there lines on the roads? Nobody in that vid seems to understand the concept of a lane.

The guy's going to become one with the asphalt and a semi soon, but forget him, I was more shocked at the jackass in the mini-van. The dude just squeezes into that small space between the bike and the car filming... Then I saw all the other cars with a half-second, half car length following distance...

OK, so only a couple posters here are questioning how he's controlling the throttle??

How does he accelerate while changing that lane??

(Either fake, or very special bike w/ throttle I've never seen before)

Well, you win. On a second look, his right foot is at rest nowhere near the throttle. Also, the bike is way too stable for someone lying like that, and way too still to be changing lanes.

On a third look, just watch the first 10 seconds. Look at the shadow: it's the shadow of a bike with a rider sitting upright, not one lying back. Fake.

He's probably got a throttle lock installed. google it to see what i'm talking about.

The shadow is too indistinct to make that claim. Plus, if it's fake, which I don't believe, how did they paste the altered images so well from so many different angles?

Is it a repost if it's bumped?

This for all of the people that were on vacation at the time of this original post.

To those of you claiming it's fake...the way his foot is positioned near the engine could mean that he's modulating the throttle directly on the carb instead of using the grips.

Thank goodness that ass isn't in the US. We riders get enough grief without him on the road.

My coworker recently got rear-ended by a 16-year-old going 50-60 mph while texting on her cell phone (according to witnesses). My coworker was at a complete stop at a red light, and the kid didn't see her or brake or anything like that.

Not all the intersections. In major cities, most major intersections are controlled (traffic light or a traffic policeman).

the smaller intersections are not controlled and you are on your own (there are no stop signs at all or even if you find a rare stop sign, no one follows it)

in smaller cities, there will be very few controlled intersections and in rural areas, almost none.

There is no lane concept...when you are driving, you just think of your own only and how to make a way for yourself. If you think of the other driver, you will practically get nowhere and be stuck in traffic almost all day everyday. That's their mentality and I don't blame them for that (I wouldn't want to be stuck in traffic all day either ;))

and for lawsuits, usually the rich person wins ;). The lawsuits last for soooo long (in many cases 10-15+ years) that usually one of the party will end up passing away/tired of the lawsuit/no more resources to fight it/out of court settlement etc. This is changing lately because of the media and media's advertisement/involvement in the major lawsuits or anyone involving rich & famous.
