My buddy's first wife did this to him......even took the damn ice cube trays!

Personally, I think he should fight for everything he wants. Yeah, the lawyers win, but at least he can make her pay thru the nose for hers, AND have the satisfaction of getting the stuff back (or it's equivalent value).

We don't have the fully story of what led to the divorce... but her moving out of the house is a good move legally for the guy at least.

Shouldn't he have changed the locks...?
