The stealing thing is serious.

But who really cares what the worker does on his laptop? Why does it matter that the guy is using 'racial slurs'? Both of these things affect the consumer in no way whatsoever.

Misleading title - they are/were not Toyota employees. They were employed by an independent dealership that sells and services Toyotas.

That said, I am glad they got busted and fired.

Still funny though ;) Maybe if the guy was black it would have been okay.

when i have my car washed ill leave 5 bucks in the ashtray. if its missing when i get to my car, ill let the "boss" know that the missing 5 was their tip and never go back there. its happened at 2 different car washes now, not that big a deal tho. keeps me voting with my cash, since i dont go back to those places.

How is this brilliant? Are car wash employees career service employees? So they don't jack your cash one week, but the next week they do. Just don't leave a $5 in the ashtray. Hell the boss will fire the crew and they will go work at the car wash down the street.

Their shirts still say Toyota on them and the bill you get from them has Toyota on the heading. They still answer to Toyota and are a threat to the brand's image.

If a McDonalds store you visited (that was franchised and not corporate owned) gave you a burger with a dead rat on a bun would you say that you got punked by a McDonald's employee or a person that sold McDonalds food products?

I hope those guys stealing are never allowed to work with cars again :).

"Why were you fired from your last job"

"I was stealing from a customer"

Yea....seems like you are out $5 and you now have to drive somewhere else to get your car washed.

I don't get it, why do you leave 5 there on purpose?

because if the employees stole it from there, i didnt want to keep going there. if it was still there, id tip them and go back for repeat business. not too hard a concept there, sparky.

True. However, I think it was a smart move of him to include that as a way to get a little more leverage with the dealership. It's one thing to say "hey I caught one of your employees stealing change from me." It's much more damning to show three separate employees doing socially unacceptable (if not illegal) things that could hurt the company's reputation. Makes it harder to put all the blame on a single scapegoat.

Anyway, all these assholes got what they deserved. None of them get any sympathy from me. If they didn't want to get fired, they shouldn't have violated company policy (and I'm sure there's a company policy against watching porn at work or using racist language).

Wrong. Very wrong. You're getting billed the time that guy spends watching porn and if he's doing any work while watching he isn't giving it his full attention.

why not just a dollar? equally as temping (cheap cash), more likely to be taken (customer wont bitch over a dollar)

Assuming he was gonna drop $5 anyway as a tip, he loses nothing and now knows the workers are crooked

Customer satisfaction is crucial, especially in slow times like these. I know other customers feel the same, as your Better Business Bureau rating is an F, as verified using the bbb.org website. However, I feel my video will speak more than their report could ever do.

LOL

Point of correction: Those are not "Toyota employees", they are dealership employees. Toyota does not own that dealership, nor does Toyota directly employ the service technicians.
