That shouldn't have been left uncorrected. I'm assuming that after your roofer made you aware of the problem he assumed you would have it addressed.

Yeah he told me so I could get it fixed. Again, laziness on my part.

And that pic was taken while he was in the middle of the job and ripping up the old roof in that part of the roof. He didn't do anything with the fascia as that wasn't part of the job he was doing.
