With an MSI Z77 GD65? :eek: They used a D12 for testing but recommended water as load temps were getting very high. At 5Ghz the 3770K consumed 233 Watts.

With mainstream cooling you can't go beyond 1.2-1.25+ volts. For 1.3+ you need water and 1.35+ with sub 70c occt is only possible with high end water
