Suspect in McDonald?s arson will be caught and tried:

Interesting quote from another story about this incident.

"?It?s an attack against the property of a Muslim, which constitutes an unacceptable act that we will fight using all possible means,? the minister said."

Does he mean if the property owner was not a Muslim that it would be an acceptable act and they would not fight using all possible means?

I'm curious, does anyone else interpret the statement in the same way that I do? If the owner was not a Muslim the government would not be as concerned and would not be compensating the owner for the damages.

Maybe it is read exactly the way the laws are over there.

I know somewhere in the middleeast that you can getyour hands cut off as a legal punishment for stealing, and a foot cut off if you tried to run to get away. But then again, maybe that is why they do not have a bad crime problem there?

No other comments?

Is it a given then that if you are not a Muslim in certain countries that you do not have the same rights as they do?
