For those double barreled shotguns, do they shoot both shells at the same time? or allow 2 shot w/o reloading?

Depends.

If you have 2 triggers and pull them both, both barrels go off

If you have 1 trigger, pull it and barrel 1 goes opff, pull it more and barrell 2 goes off

Any double shotgun I've ever seen will only shoot one barrel at a time. It would be next to impossible, not to mention very stupid, to try to pull both triggers at once.

My grandfather has an older double-barrel shotgun with two triggers, you can pull both at the same time but the recoil would probably knock you on the ground. :)
