1 mag wont overheat anything.
 
1. One magazine cannot possibly overheat it. The barrel will cool while reloading.
If you need a specific temp I recommend you talk to the chap who did the work, assuming it was a licensed gunsmith.

2. Just exactly how legal is it to have fully automatic pistol in your state?
 
30 shot mags, three ready to go. Proably 90 rounds in under 30 seconds. Seems to me it would be very warm if not smoking. :Q

Who cares about legality it's not in the USA ok?
