Not sure if you are aware, but AK's are 7.62x39 and not 7.62 NATO... BIG differenceLooking for a .308 NATO type weapon?

They are all easy to modify, but, why? Full auto is a waste of ammo. Better to learn fire control and target acquisition. Unless you like to hump a lot of .30cal around and hit nothing with it.

Actually most of your shots would probably be over their heads.
You are right, napalm would be preferable!Originally posted by: ThePresence

Full auto is not necessarily a waste of ammo. Not when you know how to use it in the right situations.

You need to be more specific about requirements. If you want a rifle that is based on the AK action, than either a Preban Galil or Valmet would be my first choice... If you want an actual AK clone, than my vote would probably be a preban Hungarian AK, although the Polytech Legend is also highly regarded....

Your not bad. There are many AK variants available in .308. Namely the Galil. Just nothing actually issued to the old Soviet Bloc militaries.
