I don't really have a problem with hunting for the most part ... Though I do think there's some level of responsibility on the hunters to hunt responsibly and to minimize the damage and suffering they themselves cause. Additionally the whole "YEEHAW I GOTCHU GOOD BOY KILLEM ALL" really gives a bad impression of hunters, most of the ones I know are pretty respectful of the practice and of the lives they take.

I don't think you can call this hunting. Hunting is tracking, killing and taking the animal back to prep, skin, eat, etc.

thanks for summing up my thought that i cannot put into words.

and the video just reminds me of Full Metal Jacket, that rustled my jimmies a little.... just a little.

while I agree with that, the feral hog issue is quite different. I believe all wild parks in states with hog populations (which is probably going to be all of them, soon enough), have an open kill policy.

OK, I could be wrong, because I don't really know shit about hunting/licensing--but there is a legit lack of tolerance for hogs.

Most states don't require a hunting license at all, in Texas you have to have one to hunt them on public land but not on private land if you are the land owner or their agent and the hogs are causing "depredation"...so basically just ask around for someone who owns land and has hogs on them if they want them gone, everybody does:p
