I have a Sig Sauer p228. It is the all black model, but I would like to turn it into the two tone model. I assume that you can buy just the stainless steel top part. I would also like to pick up a nice grip for the gun. Does anyone know some good sites to fine these kind of parts?

Just about anyone carries grips, Houge is the big maker of them. From just plastic wrap-arounds, to checkered wood. Can be cheap, to s00per fancy.

As far as a replacement slide...sounds expensive. Best bet would be to check ebay for one every once in a while.

You could try asking Numrich link

If they can't get it, no one can

If you want the look of stainless, you would be better off sending the slide off and having it electroless nickle plated, or something similar. It would be quite a bit cheaper... I am not sure if you can even get a replacement slide for a Sig...

You might check out Brownells for grips.... I am not familiar with who offers what for Sig...
