When will the "American Gun owner community" do something about these out of control thugs terrorizing our streets? or something.
I'm just kidding.
Just keep this shit in your state so we can mock from afar

For those who like to err on the side of the shooter
The man’s attorney, Robert Gershman, said he believed he was being shot at, though it turned out the other driver had in fact thrown a water bottle.

“You hear a bang on Mr. Popper’s car, akin to a gunshot, which precipitated the whole incident, so in this matter, the audio and video evidence we believe exonerates him,”

I'll save you the time by typing your comment for you
"Buh you can potentially get seriously hurt by a water bottle!! Good shoot!! What if the water bottles caused him to lose control and crash into other people!!"

WTF? Guy honks so he waits and randomly unloads on a busy highway? He didn’t even seem to be raging.

It was like that dude honked and he’s like I better honk back except with my gun.

The other car did fire first it looks like.
guess you just didn't read the OP

even if he was fired upon is it worth the risk of collateral damage to others on the highway? plus the damage to his own vehicle?

I suspect a psychological screening of this guy would have deemed him unfit to own a gun. This type of screening should be required.

Hey, he kept his gun in a locked compartment in the console [with the keys in the lock?] so I'd call him a responsible gun owner. This shoot is NRA-approved!

He worked for the Fire department.
In my experience, FD, PD and EMT have a lot of overlapping social circles.
His screening would have been the equivalent of me getting a pre-obd2 car inspected back when my buddy owned a shop.

I'm assuming he is going to get off pretty light due to Florida rules and the thump from the water bottle.
I 'm also going to assume that all of his friends are going to tease him horrendously the way he looked while he was shooting up his own car.

Between him singing and his shooting style...I would have a field day.

And that's after an aggressive brake check, after this guy jumped over into the lane in front of the guy... he seems pretty well prepared for this kind of scenario, probably fantasized about when his moment would finally arrive.
The other car did fire first it looks like.
When?

"Honey, what happened to the windshield and window?"

"Honey, why didn't you destroy the evidence?"

What an idiot lol He sure didn't look like a tough guy unloading his gun like a pussy thru multiple windows.

Way back in the old timey days, I worked a night shift at a factory in an industrial park and there was a big commotion from the security desk.
Ambulance \Police Department had arrived and we were all wondering what was going on.

Our security guards consisted of a bunch of retired police officers, all in the their 60's. One of the guards had witnessed his car being stolen, ran out as it drove away and he blasted away with his gun. Gave himself a heart attack in the process.
After the ambulance pulled away, the head of security laughed his ass off that the guy shot up his own car.

I do wonder if insurance is going to cover you dumping a mag into your own car during the commission of a possible crime.

Canadian here. So totally ignorant when it comes to guns. But how effective are shots through a windshield? And do most gun nut douches just spray and pray when shooting?

Firing a projectile through a sloped laminated windshield is a good way to avoid hitting what you point at.

shooting from a moving vehicle through windows is probably less effective than doing the same in a stationary one.
