Basicly a buncha millionaires get togather and get all the exotic cars they can and race accross a country, this year its the US, few years back it was Europe...And yes it is real.
I hope they get a lot more media coverage this year cuz ferrari's outrunning cops is hilarious...
I also hope someone brings a ferari Enzo into this one

Yuck! I was just reading the forums on the gumball site and it seems there are a few hondas and ricers in the race this year....that is lame. This is a race/rally for exotic cars, nobody wants to see a prelude...:disgust:
Damn...guess I better call Jamie Farr up and tell him to forget the Sheik costume. Oh well....live and learn. I just hope Dean Martin isn't too upset and doesn't try to shove bleeds, yes these bleeds, up my nose.Originally posted by: thomsbrain

Agree with you. This race is for filthy rich 50-something men, with 25 year old GFs that have $100K of plastic surgery, racing around in $250K cars...with no fear of arrest.

Why? Is it only entertaining if it is elitist? I'd like to see a few average Joe's thrown into the mix.
Edit: I guess it's cooler to see a Ferrari than a Focus...but I still think it'd be cool to put a couple of 'lower-end' cars in there.
