GULP!

I saw a better one on some anaconda show on Animal Planet a few days ago. It unhinged it's jaw to eat a nutria or something similar. The thing was at least twice the diameter of the snake.

The last time I fed my snake a mouse it looked like either the mouse had one hell of a hernia, or it ruptured a blood vessel in it's scrotum, because there was some major swelling.

Nah. When I had my 10th or 11th birthday party, I invited a bunch of friends over, and fed the snake with them watching. The mouse got squeezed hard enough that his eyeball popped out and hit the glass, roughly 2" away, then slowly slid down. First and only time I've seen that happen.
