Well, one of my favorites, mxtabs.net, went down maybe a year ago. They went back up a few months later but every tab link says not found so the site is useless even though it's there. I guess they got a threat over copyright.

I used OLGA way back in the day but that is shut down ATM over copyright.

So all I have now are:

Ultimate Guitar Tab Archive
Punkhardcore.com

Punkhardcore was my original favorite as I mostly play punk, but after a site re-design quite a few years ago, they lost their tabs and were suppose to put them back up. Years later and they at least got a good amount now, but UGTA has more even for the punk bands.

So that's it. I was about to post a third one that I've used for several years. It was a Nofx exclusive with pretty much every Nofx song tabbed VERY well. Notice I said "was", as I just checked right now after not visiting it in many months and it's 403 Forbidden! :(

Am I missing any or are they just about all gone from copyright threats? That's ridiculous considering it's probably only a few jackasses who post direct copies from the tablature books. Otherwise, it's all non-profit, educational for millions of guitarists around the world. Plus, they have linked to buying the sheet music for years. You got millions pirating every app, game, music, movie, etc with ease, but you wanna go after some tab sites? Stupid!

Probably the best one left after the riaa sh!t on all the other ones.

I quit tabs and started learning music theory. I'm almost to the point where I can actually figure out a song by listening to it. It's a lot of hard work, but it pays off in the end.
