Guitarists... lefty or righty?

Just wondering.. How many lefty guitarists use a left-handed guitar?

I'm a lefty and have always played a "regular" right handed guitar.

I am left handed and I use a right handed guitar. I have tried left handed guitars but they felt strange. I guess it is what you are use to.

Maybe guitars are just made backwards? I always thought it strange that the left hand has more complex work to do on a "right-handed" guitar.

Depends what your style is. If you're just strumming, the right hand doesn't have that much to do but if you're doing fingerpicking then you need more coordination.

I'm right handed, but a friend of mine is left handed and he taught himself to play a guitar the normal way. He said left-handed guitars were more expensive.

good point.

im righty, use a right-handed.
until recently couldn't play on a lefty at all. and after 5 years of right-handed guitar ive become able to play a left-handed guitar pretty decently.

lefthanded guitars arent necessarily more expensive... just harder to find and there are DEFINATELY less of them... kind of like left handed desks in a classroom.... maybe 1 or 2 lefty desks out of 30....

right handed.. play right handed...
i'm a bassist.. i know we arent real guitarists 😛....

right handed Ibanez GSR-200 transparent red finish... looks pretty sweet and sounds good 😀

I am ambidextrious and I play the guitar left-handed.

Tim Armstrong from Rancid is left-handed, as well as Paul McCartney and Tommy Iommi.
