I used to listen to a lot of Satriani when I was a kid learning guitar. I still like to pop on one of those older albums once in a while just to remind myself how good it is possible to be. But there is no way around this fact: Joe Satriani is one of rock's all-time goobers. At least he doesn't take himself too seriously.
