guitar question

Dreadnought tends to be wider in the waist of the guitar body while regular also referred to as Jumbo body style Is much narrower through the waist of the body. here are some examples. Jumbo body style and this is the dreadnought body style. My personal preference is toward the dreadnought style. I prefer the sound i get with dreadnoughts over Jumbos although there are some very nice sounding Jumbos out there to.

Dreadnought is the most common type of acoustic guitar shape, so I guess it would be considered "regular." It's medium sized (smaller than a jumbo but bigger than an auditorium or parlour) and has a less defined taper in the middle. This gives it a boomy sound that sounds good for strumming and playing live.

I just bought a Martin D-15. Hard to get used to it since I used to play an Ovation (roundback). Totally different feel and sound.
