Guitar Players...

i use the crybaby 506Q or 509Q or whatever the thing is called. i bought it because the sweep and range are variable, and it has a variable gain boost that kicks in when you step on it. it's good for an extremely aggressive wah tone. i guess it would be good for lighter stuff too, but i'd never use it unless i wanted a dramatic effect, so everything is pretty much set for maximum inpact.

i'd not part of my live signal chain, though, because i'm a tone freak and i can't stand the way the extra cable length sucks my tone. i only use it in the studio for occasional effects. otherwise, it has to be guitar --> amp, with nothing in between.

favorite guitarist would have to be billy corgan. i'm also big fans of dave navarro, vai, satch, tom scholz, and brian may.

I have a Dunlop Cry Baby Wah. I don't have one single favorite, but two guitarists I've really been enjoying lately are John Petrucci and Chris Poland.

Had an older Morley Power Wah, sounded great but it was noisy as hell. Newer Morley Wahs suck IMO. Crybaby's are ok. I don't use wah myself.

My favorite Guitarist at the moment is John Petrucci, but there's so many great ones.

Don't use wah. George Harrison.

BTW Eric Clapton plays the lead guitar in While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
Of course. I was just talking to someone about that five minutes ago. First guest appearence on a Beatles record. Uncredited too.
