I'm looking at two different multi-effects pedals..

the Boss ME-33 and the DigiTech RP300... anyone here owned/used either? I'm using it at home, nothing professional, looking to get some cool/different sounds..

if theres anything else in that range that you would suggest too i'm open.. tia as usual :)

I have no experience with multi-effects boards but I'd say go with the boss, or go into a store and try'em out. I prefer single pedals, but multi boards are good because they let you experiment with every effect

I have heard good things about the Digitech. They used to make somewhat cheesy effects until the RP series. I owned the RP100 for a while and it was pretty nice.

Since both pedals are also amp modelers, I would also suggest looking at other modelers: the Johnson J-Station ($150) or Behringer V-Amp 2 ($130). The J-Station is usually used in the studio and not live, but it has lots of extra features like digital out (S/PDIF), bass amp modelers, and you can control the unit with software and MIDI. The V-Amp 2 comes with a footswitch and bag and also has MIDI support. Using MIDI makes it a lot easier to tweak patches. I have heard good reviews about both units, most people recommend the J-Station but I have the V-Amp 2 and have no problems with it.
