A lot of the kiddies on IGN seem to be saying the game runs like complete crap, even on a top end system. I take most of what they say with a grain of salt, as I've read countless user reviews that said a new pc game looked "worse then a PS1 title graphically"

but a ton of dudes on there are saying the same thing, I want to get this game but not if it's as laggy and piss poor as they're saying. Anyone here actually played the PC version and care to comment on it? Would be a shame if it's really this bad, if it is I hope for a patch.

I picked it up for the PS2 myself cause I own all GH stuff for it so figured why stop now.

But I would believe those comments, the system requirements for this game were insane and showed they did a half ass job so it being a sloppy port wouldn't surprise me at all honestly.

I played it on Wii and did not like it. Maybe it was due to the fact that I was playing on a monster screen, but the graphics looked really crappy and the game felt... bad compared to GH2.

Does anyone know if the Xbox guitar works with the PC version?

IGN says it does

It does, but you'd need the wireless adapter from MS.

The wired USB Xplorer guitars should work fine

I bought the game today for the PC. I played through over 40 songs on the easy mode and it ran flawlessly. I played it on 1920x1080 on the Westy and it looks fantastic. I am driving it with a e6600 and a 8800gtx and 2G's of ram.

I just bought it today, but I can't get the guitar to work. It shows it's working properly in Vista's Control Panel and the buttons test properly. Won't work at all in the game. :(

UPDATE: I plugged it into a USB 2 PCI card I have in my computer. It worked. Wouldn't work with my MB USB ports or a powered hub.
