I had the game when it came out and it was laggy as shit, I ended up selling it. Now I see there have been a few patches. The 1.3 even says it improves performance. I don't trust developers lol anyone here have it patched and care to comment on performance? I was just at BB and they have a GH III box set with 2 games and a guitar for 50 bucks. Don't wanna buy it is the patch doesn't fix the game though.
 
I think the "patch" just dumbs down the res and keeps the camera focused on your character. Still crappy play and I am not 100% sure that is the patch I use (could be 1.2) but I highly doubt they fixed it to a point that you can play it the way it should be. It chokes on the system in my sig.
