Guitar Forum

I'm looking for a good guitar discussion board, especially for the beginner to intermediate level.

I tried Ultimate Guitar, but I think 90% of the population there is 16 or under.

Only one that you'll ever need. I've been in the bass forum for a few years now, great guys hang out there and are all very helpful.

Would you recommend that magazine/any other guitar magazine? I've only been playing for a couple months.

Well it depends. Are you wanting to learn just how to play or what? Guitar World goes into reviews on gear, interviews with musicians, etc. If you want to learn how to play, I wouldn't subscribe to it. If you are really into music and all, I'd go for it. Harmony Central is also good -- Jpark linked you to it.

Also, not sure what type of player you are. But here is a sweet blues tutorial from an Eric Clapton website. Teaches you a lot. It also has forums, but I've never checked them out.

I agree. Harmony Central is pretty good. A lot of helpful people, some assh*les (like all message boards). If you're being ignored, search. They get tired of answering the same questions all the time.
