I've got a 1999 Les Paul Standard, black in absolute mint condition that I'm looking to sell. What should I expect to get for it w/ Gibson hardshell case?

Thanks,
JR..

Probably ~1400 or so, the build quality on pretty much anything Gibson that isn't a custom shop sucks.

That seems a little low. I see Standards selling for $1400-1700 all the time.

$1250-$1450 on ebay, and probably closer to the lower end of that range, black is not an especially desirable color.

If you're selling this locally in person, $1200 is reasonable and you will come out way ahead of dealing with the risk and horrific fees of ebay.

Ok, thanks for the feedback guys. I really appreciate the responses. Looks like between 1300 and 1400 is about right.

Another one for around $1500. The ebony paint is their low end Standard. The Burst colors would get you a couple hundred more.

If you have someone with 1200 clams, AND YOU're THINKING about selling said guitar, do it and don't look back.
The "bird in the hand" colloquilism comes to mind.

Nah, I'm selling on eBay and got an offer for 1200. Just wondering if I should cut-n-run.

$1200 is a fair price, if you want to mess around with listing it 2-3 times your might get $1400-1500. I would take the $1200
