Guitar Center Rocks...Got new guitar!!!

I went in there for the first time, this place rocks. Picked me up a new B.C. Rich Mockingbird and a Crate amp.

A lot of people rag on Guitar Center, but I have gotten some GREAT deals there. Their regular prices are decnt, but every now and then at the local one I go to, they have Manager's Specials that are ridiculously low prices.

picked up my 50th anniv strat (candy apple red..mmm) fitted with locking tuners and EMG active pickups (humbucker is model 81 i think) sweety ebony fretboard... that was $550

also picked up a JCM2000 DSL (100w) and JCM 900 Lead Cab (4x12) for $800

The Guitar Center in San Jose Ca cracks me up. They used to have their annual going out of business sale. I swear, every year, sometimes twice a year, they would announce a huge going out of business sale on the radio. Ridiculous prices for great stuff. Of course, they never went out of business.
