Hmmm. Looks like a great price. I missed out on thh Target deal a while back and this looks like a similar item. Anyone own this that can comment on the quality, playability, etc? On a side note I ordered a Hart Dynamics electronic drum set several years ago from these guys. No problems and the prioe was great. Still have a Music 123 t-shirt sitting in my closet that I have never worn...

By the way don't forget ebates for an extra 3% off or Fatcash for 4% (I believe).

Okay guys. If you're going to buy one of these just to smash in your rock video save the pieces for me. Looking ... umm... begging for electric guitar parts.

Future shredders,

Check out the reviewsat Music123.com. Especially the 3rd one down. Juan used to tour with Megadeth and Slayer and well, he loves the guitar... and apparently he also loves to smoke excess amounts of weed as well judging by his review. Anyway, the reviews (aside from Juan's that obviously lacks credibility) seem to be positive. Keep in mind this is a beginners entry level guitar and at that it appears to excel especially for the price.

Anyone who really wants an entry level guitar won't be able to tell the difference anyway.

Ive ordered many times from Music 123 and have had nothing but good experience with them.

Ive even had no problems returning items.

So even though the guitar is an inexpensive one I feel you can order with confidence.
This is a good STARTERS guitar setup , not one for an experienced player.

If it works and stays in tune, it is well worth $50!! But as stated before, this is a "cheap" setup, but whattya expect for $50???

You should keep in mind that the only people who rate stores there are people who had a bad experience or an extraordinarily good one, since we generally expect our experiences to go smoothly. How often do you have a smooth purchase with a website and then leave them a review at resellerratings?

I bought a drum kit from them back in August, no problems, I would buy from them if I saw something else I wanted at (what I consider) a reasonable price.

Maybe if I was willing to smash it during a performance it would be worth it. Thanks OP.

Honestly, it'll probably suck. If I were looking to get an instrument as cheap as I could I'd put as much money as I possibly could into the instrument itself and then get cheap accessories that I can replace later (or that routinely have to be replaced or are generally cheap to begin with).

I ordered 2 of these Baja's as gifts to little brothers who will probably forget about them within 3 moths. They shipped Monday, arrived today.

I'm surprised I got through this thread without seeing the name Esteban!!!! The funniest thing is when he says the 1 watt amp his "ACOUSTIC" guitar comes with has a "superb" overdrive to play songs like bands like Metallica!!!! If it wasn't so ridiculously false I'd think he was hillarious. But deception to make a buck is very disturbing.

I don't think that's a fair assumption, by the reviews this a decent guitar especially for beginners. You don't expect it to be on par with a high end guitar, but from the reviews it's going to work.

Not to mention, I found a deal before the holidays for a fender bullet for 50 bucks and it's been a great guitar to practice stuff on, not to mention this one is a just another knock off of that guitar so overall it will serve novice guitar players as one to practice on.

I wonder if they did ship it... but didn't update their website...
