Guillermo Del Toro/THQ : Insane coming in 2013

That game could be about a happy little girl playing on a playground and having a small nightmare as far as we know. Completely useless bull for a trailer. Hate when people do this, doesn't spark my attention one damn bit, just gets me annoyed.

Agreed. It's not so much a trailer as it is just a long winded way of saying "New game coming out in 2013 called Insane".

Yeah the teaser revealed very little about the game, but I'm interested because I think it has a lot of talented people involved. Guillermo Del Toro is a very talented man with a vision (and I'm a sucker for horror games), and I think Volition knows how to make great games so it's got potential.

Still waiting for gameplay...

It'll probably suck.

I mean, I can't think of a single game that has the influence of a movie director that did well. Del Toro makes good movies, but how would experience translate to games? Besides, the generic name doesn't do it any justice either.

Of course, I'll eat my words if I'm wrong. 🙂

I look for it to suck to. I just can't get past them plugging it so far out. I understand that companies annouce games that are coming up,.. but so far out? Most times if they do go that far out,.. its because the game gets lost somewhere in time i.e. Island of the Dead and Ride To Hell. 2 games I have been waiting for since they were announced, and both software companies kinda act like they don't exist anymore.
