GuildFTP just started freaking out

Let me start by saying I scanned all my boxes 2x with NAV; nothing. Also checked Taskmgr and there is nothing running in the background that shouldn't be.

Also, I administer my server over the LAN with WinVNC. Also zero probs with that.

GuildFTP has been up and running on my server (specs in sig) for about 3 weeks now w/zero probs. It's been restarted a handful of times for offline maintenance and things like that, but no probs.

Normally, from the desktop of my main rig I logon to the server via WinVNC, I see the server and the GuildFTP window is open, happily humming away. As of last night, I have to manually reopen GuildFTP to look at it if my WinVNC window has been closed for more than say, an hour. Once the window opens, people are "already there" downloading...it's like Guild was running in the background, but it wasn't in the systray...weird.

I'm also getting an "out of memory" error when I try to access "Past Connections." The box has 768mb of memory and I was only using about 1/6th of that when getting this error, so I checked the Help file.

It says the "out of memory" errors can be attributable sometimes to a .syslog.txt file that has gotten too big. They say if more than 5mb it can cause probs. I checked the file and it's only 20kb!

Any ideas? I know this was a loooong description, but I wanted to give as much info as possible. Thanks for all the help.

And now it's crashing all by itself. I think a uninstall/reinstall/reconfigure is in order. :(
