Ok, you click on for example "Droknars Forge" and it says 27files downloading........

My question is are the files that are being downloaded saved to your computer or the server?

I'm asking because it seems like everytime I goto Droknar's Forge, it downloads files everytime and it seems like the same amount of file too.

The files downloaded........ What Folder/File does it download to? I have a file in my GW folder named GW and it's about 2.1 gig in size. The thing is, is that when I update, it does not get any larger than the 2.1gig (it's not an EXE and has to be the game file/s)

The file is not read only either, already thought of that.
BUT...... I did notice that the file "TYPE" got renamed to NeroMediaPlayer media files...... The file name is still GW but just the file "TYPE" has changed.

Someone let me know what the biggest file in your GW folder is named and what type of file it is 🙂

From that 1 big file they actually delete the older ones? Good to know 😉 I was getting paranoid that new files were not getting saved since the huge file stayed the same most of the time.

they are being downloaded to your computer but i dont know why you have to download them again. maybe updates? when i play its only the first time i go to a newplace then you get all the files for that place so you dont need to download it again.

I believe it's because they add new content pretty regularly. Like recently they added quite a few new unique items in areas that didn't have them before, like The Falls.

btw, with broadband access it only takes a few seconds to download these files, so they must be pretty small. At least that's my experience.
