Guild wars/guild wars factions question

Just wondering, is guild wars factions a first person perspective RPG like oblivion at all? Is there any single player play on either one, or strictly MMORPG?
It looks sweet, but i'm not really a RPG person, so i'm just curious.
Is it like dungeon seige instead?

Thanks!

It's not linear like Dungeon Siege. There are quests and missions and such like most other MMORPGs so in that respect it's similar in some ways. It's a 3rd person view when you play but if you zoom all the way in.....it looks like you're in first person so I would imagine that you can play that way. You must play Guild Wars online as there is no offline way of playing. You can, however, play alone and use henchmen for making a party. They generally work pretty well in most situations and it will help you level up and complete most of the game if you wish to play that way. I usually do that since I don't play with a lot of people.
