This is part of my ongoing GuideZilla tutorials for OS X. My last article was on how to manage your software collection. New topics will be posted at random intervals
This is Part 1 of a Backup series that I am writing on managing clones & backups on your Mac. This tutorial is specifically about cloning using SuperDuper! It covers the concepts of both cloning a drive or partition to another drive or partition, as well as cloning a drive or partition to a sparseimage file (similar to an ISO of a CD, but for a hard drive). Here's the link:

Part 2 will cover Time Machine, including retrieving files and migrating Time Machine backups to a new installation, and Part 3 will tie it all together with a Video Tutorial show you how to actually use the software for the purposes the concepts discussed.
Enjoy, and any feedback is most welcome
