guide to service pack 2?

i'm building a new system and since ms is forcing everyone to upgrade to sp2 anyway, i'm just going to buy a copys of winxp with sp2.

is there a site or guide that details what sp2 changes or add's, such as the firewall, and how to fix/disable it so it works like sp1?

1. open control panel
2. open network connections
3. right click LAN (or wireless connection)
4. click properties
5. click advanced
6. click settings
7. choose OFF radio button

That's to disable the firewall
