There is a user forum from Lavasoft, developers of AdAware, that will rid your system of the dreaded VX2. If you follow the directions from the website exactly, you will be rid of this horrible browser redirector.
It will require a few downloads and these are given in the directions. You need to have Lavasoft's AdAware Personal SE. Download and install this if you don't all ready have it from their website:

Then go to the user forum and follow directions EXACTLY as given! You will no longer be bothered by pop up ads caused by the VX2. Good luck!
