Guide to getting youtube videos straight to your ipod, psp, etc.

The first thing you will want to do is install the firefox addon Greasemonkey found here.

Next, you will need to install a user script for greasemonkey called Youtube to me. Simply follow the instructions on that page.

Once you have .flv files downloaded, you will need a converter to convert the .flv files to a file that your ipod or psp can play. The best one i have found is called Super, a gui of several encoders, and can be found here. It is seriously the greatest converter ever. No bugs no bs just straight up encoding just about anything to just about anything. Just choose your output container at the top left, drag your .flv, and click encode. You may want to right click in the job list to specify the output folder destination.

EDIT: Most of you have probably already been doing this for a while but for those who haven't, i hope this guide was helpful.
 
I've heard of others using riva and video downloader but i've found that using greasemonkey and super are a much better 1-2 punch overall...
