I have tried every sigle possible fix that ATI has on their website. I have even contacted their support only to have them ask "did you download the correct lsit for your area?" I have reinstalled from scratch, I have the latest drivers for my 97 AIW and all the latest versions of software for from ATI. I did have it runly correctly at one time which lasted about 6 months, then suddenly one day while updating the channels it crapped out!. I hadn't changed anything on my PC at all. The only thing I can think of at this point is that it's the splitter I have sharing the video card connection and my cable modem for the PC crapped out some how. Any one have any ideas? I am at a total loss! Thanks all!

Sounds like something in the registry isn't getting removed during the uninstall or something. I also recall an issue with the Borland database that may be the culprit.

Try this: Link In addition, look for a file named "pdoxusrs.net" in the root directory and rename it prior to launching Gemstar+ (step #3 in the ATI fix)

Thanks for the suggestions, I literally tried every possible fix from ATI's web site. I looked in the registery for anything that may be causing this issue but I don't see any thing off hand that would be the problem. I am going to try a different splitter tomorrow, it's the only thing I can think of at this point that may be causing the issue. ATI was horrible. their suggestions over the course of 5 emails was the same dam thing, "try downloading the correct listing for your area". No Sh*t! You think! Thanks rbV5 for the suggestions. 😉
