GUIDE ME SELECT A GOOD UNINSTALLER

I am working with Windows 98. Invariably the programs I download, do not get included in Add/Remove Program of Window98. Consequently, even if they have their individual
uninstaller component with the program, deleting these downloaded programs leave behind many files in the registry
making a mess of associated programs.

I am therefore planning to install Symantec's "Norton Clean
Sweep" which I believe a very good uninstaller software.

Before I buy and install Norton Clean Sweep Uninstaller,
I shall be happy to share the experience of those members who have used this uninstaller.

If however, you would recommend another uninstaller, please
tell me its salient features.

Pls post your replies.

HI there,
My opinion is you ditch Norton Cleansweep Eventhough i am a fan of that software it is a waste of money and is a bloated up Appplication
which can be pain in the neck ,whereas the Uninstaller from network associates does a good job of cleaning up the mess ,I would thoroughly
recommend Uninstaller 6.0 It has a power clean feature which is very useful to have an index of the files on your os in each category which can be cleaned

Thanks Easternerd for suggesting Uninstaller 6.0 instead
of Norton Clean Sweep.

Can you please give me the website for Uninstaller 6.0.

What I understood that Norton Clean Sweep, shows all files of a program downloaded, and also indicates any link of a file with
another application.

As my friend has Norton Clean Sweep CD-Rom, I do not have to spend
for this uninstaller.

:)
