GUI for Apache Derby databases

I'm working with an application that utilizes the apache db format as the back-end repository. My company primarily uses MS SQL Server so we currently don't have any apps that can view this back-end. I know Derby is primarily command line driven. Can someone recommend an application or suite that can open apache files that has a comparable view/functionality to SQL Management Studio? I essentially want to see the DB Explorer view and have a gui for typing queries and seeing the output. Ideally, i'd also like it to have similar import/export options as Management Studio.
