Guesstimate how much in rebates you've been denied or just "let go"

Recently had 2 fuji film $12 rebates not go through. I've contacted them but they want copies, I didn't make any (it's was $12).
So far my Sony Cybershot rebate of $50 hasn't gone through and it's been like 3 months.

I should really start keeping track of these things.

I lost $30 in rebates on a burner I bought from Office Max. I doubt I'll ever deal with rebates again.

 

I've gotten every rebate I've sent in. Make copies (even better to scan your documents if you have access to a scanner), stay organized, and mail them quickly after buying the product.

I've been rebating for a long time, not for resale, just for personal use, and have gotten back 100% of the more than 100 rebates I've done. Some have required chasing down and a few have been double paid, but none have been forfeited.

I let go one IOmagic rebate. I called them but they said they never got it. They wanted a piece of the box but i already threw it away. It was a $30 rebate.

probably 30 bucks in all. i really hate rebates, unless they're REALLY reliable. i've had good experience with CC rebates. nothign else though.

I've never been denied one... but can't recall if I've gotten every single one of them back.. I do maybe 3 a year, if that... Black Friday was actually 3 this year... got them.

I don't really consider it "saving" since I always consider the rebate amount included in the purchase price.

I'm going to start keeping track of these things. I'm going to send in a t-mobile $50 rebate soon, it'll be entry #1.
Anybody got an excel spreadsheet for these things?
