I love his site! Maybe I should do some more post processing on my images!

Alfa,

I know that on the XTi, I go to the 2nd page of Camera options, the first line is "AEB." Scroll down, hit select and move the pointers outward. I know I can only to 3 pictures at a time.

-2..1..0..1..2

I slide it out to where it has both 1's underlined but it only takes 1 picture

ha ha ha...I now that you mention it I had the same problem! You have to have the burst mode enabled as well.

I mean, some of those are nice, but I still am have a hard time warming up to HDR. It just seems...cartoony to me.

IMO this looks better than this
HDR is nice when done right, but i think he goes a bit too overboard with them. Still nice, but they are more graphical art than photos.

I agree. The first one looks like a photograph. The second one looks like it is very carefully crafted CGI, but it just doesn't look real.

I think that HDR has its uses, namely in scenes which have, you guessed it: wide dynamic range. Things like sunsets, fireworks, and photos with mixed lighting. All places where you want to copy as closely as possible what your eye saw, which is impossible in a single exposure, as our eyes capture a much wider dynamic range than current camera sensors.
