Guess who came to dinner last night?

Raconteur
The animals in my woods really hate my bird feeders. I've been through many of them. I don't care what the packaging says, there isn't such a thing as an animal proof bird feeder.

First it was squirrels and chipmunks.
Then it was the raccoons.
Recently, it's been a flying squirrel.
Then, last night...

I had gotten into the habit of bringing the feeders indoors at night, but last night the weather was crappy, so I left them out. I paid the price.

All these pics are about 10 feet from my front door.

WTF? Is that a joke?

you've never heard of the onion?

No. I just found the internet this morning. 😱

So is this the onion a parody website of....oh say, CNN?

it's the internet version of Fox News

it's the internet version of keith olbermann, actually.

seriously though, good pics, Ned. From the width of those paws, it looks like maybe an adolescent brown bear? Or what kind of bears do you guys have around? I like the name Coda for your dog. 🙂

I live in east TN - no brown bears here. That paw belongs to a black bear.
