Guess when we will see price drop on 5700 &9600XT performance level cards ?

Since the 5700 Ultra & 9600XT seem to be priced too high relative to performance - any guess when they will drop to sub $100 ?

My budget is ~$100, but can wait a few months if it means getting a better performer then 9600SE or GF5600.

dx9 compatable and dx9 level hardware are two different things. a ti4200 is dx9 compatable and it is also your best bet for ~100$.

These cards will drop when the new generation comes out in 4 months. Usually you see large price drops at this point in time or about 2 weeks after the official launch of the first retail card of the new generation.
