No. WWDC has been software only for as far as I can remember (a couple years...). Hardware announcements are in the fall.
Up until iPhone 4, the new iOS hardware was launched at WWDC.

Was just saying that on Twitter...they said a lot of their new customers are migrating from Android. I think I have yet to meet a single person IRL who did that...they always jump ship TO Android![]()
so much Android bashing, they must be really butthurt on Android's success![]()
It didn't sound like the integration was that tight but I could be wrong.
It really does set iOS up in a great spot against android/pc. The seamless integration and the wifi hotspot sound great.
Automatic wifi hotspot, dark mode, and air drop along with widgets are really my fav things about this.
You were saying?Wrong. They have usually made product announcements at past conferences. These include the Retina Macbook Pros and Mac Pro most recently.
Wrong. I know a ton that have switched after falling for Android fanboy lies.
It's not wrong if the only people I knew went from iOS to Android, haha.
I really hope they have a waterproof iPhone...I'm super jealous of the Galaxy Active. Especially if you have kids....

My parents went from Android to iOS because of a malware infection, but then my Mom is the type of person who clicks on every malicious software link that gets e-mailed or texted to her.
That's who iOS is built for. It's designed so there's practically no way the average user can break it.
I went to the S4 for the big screen but the build quality was not up to par and the software was poorly integrated. It does have a beautiful 1080p 5" screen and a lot of ram tho.
I think iOS 8 may be hard on the 4S and maybe even the 5. I remember when iOS 6 came out and my iPhone 4 became very slow
I really admired the announcements today. I am a person who had not owned a Mac between the early '90s and 2005, and who was a real PC enthusiast during that time. Now I am firmly in the Mac/iOS camp, and find these announcements really exciting. I now use a Mac laptop at home (mid-2009 MBP with SSD and RAM upgrades - I am amazed to be using a five-year-old laptop but it keeps on keepin' on) and an iMac (27", late 2012) at work, together with an iPhone 5 and iPad Air. The seamless file sharing and speakerphone features announced today are just incredible in terms of integration of platforms, and they reward loyalty to the Apple platform in a way we haven't seen before.

That would be a huge bonus!
