Guess what my dad just said while ass drunk.

Typical immigrant parents working their butts off for us second generations.. my parents just got back from drinking and this is what happened...

Dad: Come here my older son. (older son? he doesn't speak retarded like this usuallly)
Me: Yea? (while browsing ATOT, not really looking at him)
Dad: I love you.
Me: ...
Dad: I said I love you.
Me: Why don't you say that to me when you're not drunk?
Dad: Come on kid! I'm a traditional Korean man.. I can't say that to you while sober...

Dad: I have to tell you something..
Me: ok?
Dad: I'm really proud that I have a son like you..
Me: why is that?
Dad: THAT is WHY!
Dad: But I also dislike you...
Me: why?
Dad: because you're my son and some of your ways are like me. Which is not good...
Me: ...
Dad: I love you...

I don't know what to say.... A part of me is furious from the past trouble he and I had... another part is so sad because my dad is really deprived in my opinion.... another part of me is crying because I love him so very much..

lol, at my graduation my dad got drunk and broke down in tears telling me how proud he was of me. that was 1 of the 2 times in my life i have ever seen him cry, just enjoy it man, you're overanalyzing this way too much.

I have never seen my parents drunk, they never get drunk anyways... mostly a glass of liquor is all they drink...
