*breathing in* Ah....the smell of the oce...er Mountains. As many know, Colorado is used by many for high altitude testing. Well besides seeing the Audi TT one whole year before actual release, I've seen Passats, and Jettas as well, way before schedule release.

So today, I come across a convoy of PT Cruisers. Funny I think, and I mention it to my friends. Scrutinizing a bit more, I notice the blue Michigan manufacturer plates. We're on to something now! I look around for visual cues that standout from the normal PT cruiser, and I see the Touring Edition badge, quietly gracing the tailgate of the oddly shaped family mobiles. The wheels were 5 spoke, silver wheels, not the chrome wheels. They looked to have lower profile tires than the regular PT...maybe 225/55-16s...something like that. Anyways...it was pretty cool seeing these little devils cruise around the plebian city of Lakewood.

Very cool... I am considering a PT Cruiser for my next vehicle purchase once my truck is paid off and I can afford a second vehicle.

I saw an entirely disquised car (looked like an Mercedes A-class to me) testing in Vail last Christmas...

The PT Cruisers are the most horribly looking vehicles to ever roam the roads. It looks like those cars in those 1920s gangster mobiles.

If anyone buys them, its only so they can get attention. Because when you get one, and all those people are looking at you, its not because they like it, they're looking at it in disgust! ;)

The only purpose that I can really see, is use them as advertisement delivery vehicles for small companies. In my area, I've seen small groceries stores and Coca Cola, ginkos, etc. use them as delievery cars.

I kinda like the Azteks in respect for what they can do. If you haven't read of all the capabilities of an Aztek, I suggest you do just for a little background information. They aren't the prettiest thing, but can sure as hell do a lot. They are really targeted towards a certain type of driver recreationist group.
