Well you guys were right about "mimic" last time. So help me out with this movie, i remember a lot more of it than with other movies.
It was set today, and it took place in a little town i believe, like the little town from goonies (mountain and rainy). Everyone in the town is gone, its been abandoned i dont remember why exactly they left, i think they may have all killed eachother or been killed or been evacuated. Anyways a team of guys is sent in and they discover something in the sewer, a really old lifeform that looks like its made of black oil, it can take over people and when it does their eyes turn black, either it takes them over or immitates them, im pretty sure it takes them over. It isnt like in the thing where it takes something over the lifeform is still present, its not actually inside the person its just sorta got the person on remote control if you like. The team brought a portakabin with them and theres a dog outside it the whole movie, watching them, probably a lifeform controlled dog. In the end the lifeform breaks through the road and its massive, much larger than the part that was seen in the sewer before, turns out its pure hatred or evil or something gay like that, i dunno how they kill it. Maybe they sing it a hot island song to melt its cold heart, i dunno, but in the end it dies and i think the crazy scientist they had along with them dies too.
