Guess I'm forced to pay on EBay?

The story first: I lost my own Dexdrive quite a while's back. My girlfriend only owns the PS1 and wanted to save her games on the computer seeing that she only had 1 memory card. I bidded on EBay and then after I bidded, wouldn't you know it, Murphy's Law kicked in and it was found.

This was about 30 minutes after the bidding, and since it ends in a little over 4 hours, I contacted the seller, I even have a copy sent to my own e-mail address.

Still no reply.

According to EBay's retracting form, I have to fill it out before an hour passes. Well I gave the people more leeway than I thought because that hour just passed when I filled it out.

Now I'm stuck to pay for this thing....I think. I'm a new EBayer so I'd like to know what options I have. No the seller still hasn't contacted me yet.

The auction in question

Ask the seller if it is ok to pay for the listing fees.
Once you both agree to not complete the transaction I believe the seller gets his/her final value fee back.
Listing fee for that is probably <$2 or maybe <$1.

I had an encounter like this. I won the auction. Told the sellar I couldn't pay. He contacted eBay, they refunded him his listing charges. Everything was fine.
