GTXP: problem with low sound

SUBxWRX

I just installed GTXP on win98se with the newest drivers from the site......I set my volumes to max but the sound is still kinda low....

What else do you have installed? What type of speakers do you have <powered?>, is just the volume on the control box turned up? We need a few more details to answer.

I have a pair of Altec lansing speakers my computer came with....the sound was louder on my riptide soundcard that came with the computer before I installed the GTXP ....and I believe I uninstalled all the previous drivers .....yes I have the volume control to the max .....Also, when I try to play Counterstrike, the sound goes off for some reason

How does this even remotely fall under the category "highly technical?" Are you retarded?

Go to general hardware or technical support. Geesh..some people.

One might phrase it a little more politely, but he is essentially correct. This does not belong in the Highly Technical forum, and you would likely see a far better response in General Hardware
